Challenge: Tilted Horizon (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-30D
Lens: Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
Location: Tower of London
Date: Feb 11, 2009
Aperture: F4
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/60
Date Uploaded: Feb 14, 2009

Shot in RAW, at an angle. Increased saturation, contrast, decreased brightness, rotated 1 degree to get the handrail level, cropped, USM, resized, USM.

I like this picture for the confusion of geometric lines at 45 degrees. My girlfriend doesn't like it, so I'm interested to see what the voters think.
It wasn't taken specifically for this challenge, it just happened to be the only tilted picture I took this week.

Works well and a geometric shot. Not the most interesting subject though.

On oddly interesting shot! I think it's the double levels to the stairs with that twist at the landing that gives it real appeal.

It would be a great photo if there was some contrast, play of lighting etc.

I like how the vivid green color in this shot and the texture of the stones is kept.
