Lighting, exposure, focus cropping all spot on, but I have to confess I'm probably more in awe of the fact that you got Bailey to sit still and wear glasses for you !!

My dog would have had them on the ground before I could have pressed the shutter . .

Like the desat on Baileys fur as well . .

Really nice picture - I would struggle to see it as a double take, I think if you wanted that the water would have to be like a mirror and show every detail of the trees in great clarity.

But still a really nice shot anyway : )

Pretty girl, nice tones.

I have some doubts about the crop - I find the bright coloured triangle on the left of the picture leads the eye away from the main focal point of the picture, and would consequently rather have more room on the right (plain dark background.

I think I would rather she made eye contact with the viewer as well to increase the intimacy.

Good shot though.
