Not sure I don't like this better than your nicely scoring entry, though I imagine it wouldn't show up as well on the DPC "small screen." The line of dark trees, the wetted muted hills/mountains combine SO well with the line of white cloud, and then all the delicious stuff happening with rainbow clouds, and even just a little grey rain. Well done.

Looked at this a long time, wondering about the apparent tilt of the horizon; what I found is that I appreciate the gradation of brightness/light leading to the buildings on the left which also emphasizes the slope of the low tide sand. That is to say, once "in" the picture the horizon works as is. Nice work. 8
