Day10.jpgby FotoMunkiComment: Mark, I totally agree about the blown highlights, it really works well here. The exposure is so perfect on your wife. Did you use a reflector to get some fill light on her? The lighting is just perfect. The only thing I might have done differently is crop out the oof couch and the corner of the table on the left side and put a dark border around to keep the eyes in. Great job and one of my favorites of the side challenge thus far. |

day-10by digitalpinsComment: I'm really loving your street shots Ryan. The compositions are all excellent and this one is no exception. The harsh lighting works so well here. Keep em coming! |

8 - Sidelong Glanceby BudComment: What a wonderful shot! I love the since of motion, like she through her head in that direction intent on seing something just out of the frame. It is so hard to get a since of motion and sharpness at the same time, but you have done it. Great photo. |

day-9by digitalpinsComment: I really like this composition. I love the diagonal dark and white that seperates the grafitee and creates such great tension. The b/w treatment works well for me because it has such rich tones. Very well done. |

Day 8 - Morning Glory Budby JLCComment: I like the delicate lighting, but the composition doesn't do much for me. Maybe if the morning glory bud was at more of an angle. Very nice background but I agree with aguapreta, perhaps darkening it would help? |

Day 8 - Who's got mail?by BarbBComment: Very interesting composition! I also like the shapes and the leading lines throughout. What is the plastic looking thing on the backside of the post? A rain gauge? It is the only shape I don't really like as it seems out of place. |

Morning in the Marshby docurrieComment: What a lovely composition! I love the bright "overblown" sky that really lifts the mood of the photo. I think including the bird watchers was a good idea too. 9 |

Late summer field and mountainsby bob350Comment: Lovely pastel composition in the tradition of great impressionistic paintings. Very well done. I love the layering which gives great debth to the photo. Great control of the sky too. Maybe adding a foreground object would have increased the debth even more....8 |

Autumn Approachesby TammerComment: I love this composition, the leading lines are just wonderful and the water is so "impressionstic". I don't even mind the mixing of warm and cool tones as it works well here. I know including a color from within the photo for the border is a great way to tie it all together but I think I would have prefered a simple black border, that is a personal preference and doesn't effect my voting. 8 |

Impressed by Fruitsby SanjuroComment: Lovely study in impressionism. The few blown spots on the fruit are a little distracting considering the "painting" effect, but the overall lighting isn't bad. 8 |
