Unbelievable color in those clouds. The dark blue/black rain clouds next to the bright orange on a sky blue background. Simply stunning work! Definitely a feeling of solitude.

This is a great picture! The depth of field is spot on to soften out the distractions from the background. And any additional softening you have applied has also worked well to bring all attention to the subject. Very crisp detail and nice coloring. 8

Beautiful capture! The exposure is just right without going overboard. There is quite a bit of grainy chatter throughout. It's not offensive or dramatically taking away from the beauty here. If you are looking for a nit picky critique, I think it could be improved a bit by hiding the mottled grain. Aside from that... This is a beautiful image!

This, to me, is what photography is all about. Pictures of children will rate well, even on DPC, if you can present them in a way that pulls emotion from the viewer. This is my favorite of the challenge and I hope to see it in Parenting Magazine or any number of other places that I'm sure would love to be able publish this. The pose and expression of the child are exceptional. Congratulations on an award winning shot ! ! ! Certainly a 10 from me.

This is a beautiful work of art! I like it a lot. The on-going debate over what makes a great photograph, The composition or the technical aspects of the photo? I know from experience you need to start out with a very well taken photograph. I'm giving this a 8. Placement is excellent and the overall feel of the work tells a story. I think you may have taken the abstract effect just a little too far even for my taste. (Keeping in mind, this is a photography contest so the voters might not give this the credit I feel it deserves). This is an awesome and bold entry for DPC.
