Where are the better shoes.by SolviComment: Here's a comment... There has been a lot of photos like this one in the fact that all it is, is a picture of a shoe or shoes in black and white set in front of a bland background with nothing but the title to make the photo mean anything. (other then a bland still life photo of a shoe) I haven't been commenting on these photos but I suppose I should have to justify my mediocore/low vote. Obviously I don't know who you are, but go ahead and have this comment. :) It's something I need to learn myself, alot of my photos end up being bland as well and just don't have much vision or creativity behind them. So this time I'm giving you a lower vote but I encourage you (and myself) to really get creative and add a story or impact to the photos we take. P.S. I've been thinking some and this sort of challenge may lend itself better if users would be able to submit a "photo story" with multiple photos. Photo stories then can include more "bland" individual images because they are used to tell the "story" and contribute to the collective impact and/or creativity. Hope this makes sense.. I don't want to just slam your image since it's not worthy of that, just describing my reason for voting it low in this challenge. Hope it helps!

Forgottenby KelliComment: maybe a different angle would've helped... except that I knew it was a shoe because of the challenge, I would've really had to looked to figure it out otherwise |

Burn Outby KarenNfldComment: Before I saw the title I interpreted this to seem like the shoes were just used and were still hot and energized from whowever just used them. To me it didn not look lonely. Then I read your title. It's kinda cool, but it still doesn't work for "lonely" in my opinion |
