| Before I saw the title I interpreted this to seem like the shoes were just used and were still hot and energized from whowever just used them. To me it didn not look lonely. Then I read your title. It's kinda cool, but it still doesn't work for "lonely" in my opinion |

| whoa! burnout indeed. While this is a really nice photo, a portrait if you may call it, and I really like it, I don't think it shows a sense of loneliness that the challenge was asking. still a 6 from me. |

| Makes so much sense! In my view, the photo needs a little more "air" - I would have left more negative space around. Hope no shoe suffered in the process, just the feet! Top 10 |

| Love the smoke coming from them, but the head on composition is just a little static. Great lighting and detail. |
