Barleyby roO_dawgComment: The angle makes this very interesting. The gold and blue are beautiful complements to each other. |

Pearls and Feathersby SnopawComment: I didn't catch what those were at first. They look like little eggs. Interesting combination! |

A.D.Dby ben4345Comment: What is the red in the mouth? I don't feel this fits the theme of a missed focus. This seems to be more of a great DOF shot since the dog in the foreground is in focus. I really can't tell what was "missed"? 6 |

Compelled to Stayby npaselComment: In this challenge I was looking for something in focus to act as a counterbalance to what might have been in focus instead. So for the ones totally out of focus, I'm looking for an intriguing scene. I see one here as I feel the Canadian Geese are always good for an interesting shot. The glow spots are odd tho. 6 |

The Merry-Go-Roundby franktheyankComment: In this challenge I was looking for something in focus to act as a counterbalance to what might have been in focus instead. This is a really cool long exposure shot but it gives me no indication of what an intended subject might have been. The only thing I can see that might have been cool is the shadow of the horse in the reflective mirror. I think I'd like to have seen a tighter crop to give that more emphasis. 6 |

So for the ones totally out of focus, I'm looking for an intriguing scene. This just makes me think of photos that I have taken, where I tried to get a macro shot and just got too close lol. For this scene, there isn't much capturing my attention except for the color. 5 |

It doesn't make me think much beyond what I see here. 6 |

Adorationby zaroziniaComment: This doesn't fit into my definition of a missed focus. I see a great DOF shot with the frog in fairly good focus. And the color pops out so well too. 6 |

Behind every cow...by prperoldComment: I can't stop staring at the background. The light on the rocks is fascinating. I hope you got another shot of that without the OOF cow lol. Fun shot, fits the theme well. 8 |

shufflin' thru the streetby briantammyComment: I don't feel that long exposure counts as a missed focus, especially since it look almost like a panned photo. BUT the swirly legs and bodies make this look really cool. 7 |
