DSC_0153 copy.jpgby electrolostComment: nice job of using perspective to convey the height of the tree. I agree with what someone said about cropping the bottom. That would probably change the pic somewhat! |

"X" gets the squareby dsternerComment: You got two very helpful comments on this pic! I agree, this is a great idea, and i too think the flash hurt - I think because it creates shadows that do not really add to the picture. Challenge yourself to take pics without the flash and see what happens! (use table lamps, natural lighting, flashlights!) |

__by undieyatchComment: you'll see me leave comments about this on many pics. My preference would be to see more of a black and white contrast. On my screen, the background has a slight sepia/yellowish tinge, as does the flower. I'd like to see more white on the flower and more black on the background. I am sure this will sound stupid to you and everyone else because on their computers it probably looks fine. I think you did an awesome job capturing the details on the flower petals - which is amazing since you probably did this is sunlight. The sharp focus on the center of the flower is awesome! |

trailby poserComment: I was thinking about this for a bit and was not sure if I liked the extra sharpness or not. And lol, I think I do because what it really does is helps define each tree. I think the trees could have gotten lost and blended together in the B/W. Interesting pic! |
