Bridge in the Park.jpgby dsternerComment: deb - go back to the original thread - where people were signing up to do this. I had asked what processes people follow to convert to black and white and I got some great ideas there. I have since noticed a difference in my black and white pics. I have taken plenty of pics with more gray tones and I am using this challenge to move past that.
This is a great idea for a shot. The tree branches are a distraction for me and I don't know if this would have been possible, but get down closer to the ground and try taking the pic that way. Or get closer and change the focus. Speaking of focus, this looks great! |

dead-treeby poserComment: The shadow adds a nice contrast to the pic. I would like to see some cropping of the space on the left - for me, it doesn't add anything to the pic. |

IMG_Day1Mr.Orange.jpgby noranekoComment: I'm no expert so I can only tell you what I would have done - whether it is right or wrong I am not sure. I love this! It is GORGEOUS. The eyes really pull you in. The detail on the fur is awesome. So the thing I would have done would be to cut off the part on the left, and just kept this as a face shot. Very pretty! |

Fallen (1)by TonyTComment: I agree with sherpet, I think I'd like to see this in black and white. I think that would help the chunks of wood pop out of the picture more. I like the composition. |

Day-2by SandyPComment: This is very pretty. I love the reflections. What really catches my eye tho is what the water is doing at the end of the fall. It looks like it is soft and misty... quite the contrast from the sharpness of the rest of the pic. Interesting! |

Dawn at the Race Trackby YoungerComment: I gave this a 7 during the challenge. I thought the lighting, colors, and detail on the flower was just gorgeous. |

Coffee Brewerby OmniComment: i liked the dark tones - sets the modd of the shot. the color of the lighting behind the pot greatly enhances the pic as does the frame. very nice! |

Bubbles in the Hazeby kjhunter2250Comment: well this is definitely and out of the box thinking kind of picture. I like your choice here instead of going with the obvious (like a traditional bubble). The swirl around your granddaughter creates a beautiful bubble effect as well. Interesting! |
