faithby sevilduvarciComment: You caught some gorgeous lighting here. What really jumped out at me were the small candles. They seem so crisp and clear. |

angularby asimchoudhriComment: Beautiful photo. The black and white contrasts are supreme. I love how this photo is just reaching into the sky! |

Terra vinoby asimchoudhriComment: Black and white is indeed the best choice. Two colors lets the viewer focus solely on the earth and sky - instead of the blend of colors. Love the perspective and the border is an excellent complement! |

3-2-1 Ignite!by dsternerComment: Whiterooks comment cracks me up. We shall now pause and think for a moment...
I like the background because it helps the red to stand out. One thing I am now learning with my camera has to do with the f-stop. I think a bigger number would increase the area of focus. Please do keep running with your ideas and if you get a chance, show them to others before you get ready to enter the challenge. That might help you feel better as you watch your pictures get scoredon. But do not let the voters define who you are as an artist - do what you like, and keep focusing on what you like, so you can be the best at it. |

Reflectionsby jackal9Comment: Pretty! Love the red. Fire, water, earth, and air (I can hear it). I think I woulda cropped some off the top and to the right. Lucky dog that you have all these elements at your disposal :D |

a soul's journeyby rozComment: Boo booo DQ'd - they're out to get ya, I tell ya. j/k lol. Well at least you have given the rest of us a step by step DQ tutorial now so we know what to do when we feel like we need a little DQ in our system. :)
I remember what you wrote to me about your beliefs and how on earth would you visually be able to express it. This is an excellent spiritual representation in my opinion. The softness and the light background certainly represent that our true souls have no real or tangible form. Just excellent! |

Soul musicby MelethiaComment: This is a really interesting shot. I compared it to the straight on shot and your angle adds so much depth to the pic. I have to learn to take pics from different perspectives like this. Very cool! |
