This is an interesting photo - is that an eagle in the middle? Since this is a fall photo, I'd like to see a better saturation of color, and also, it doesn't look like anything is in focus on the pic. For me, the border doesn't do anything but make the picture look smaller.

Interesting shot, especially with the burst of fire coming thru the clouds in the background. I would like to have seen more clarity or sharpness on the tent or something in the foreground. I think that would help create a little more depth for the photo.

Bear in mind that my monitor may not be calibrated right. I love the centered composition but the drums are too dark. Even if you were trying to create a silhouette, I don't see too much of a difference between the dark foreground and background and the drums. I see a little light spot by the cymbal on the right. I do like the lighting on the drummer.

Interesting choice of subject for your photo. Why did you crop off the flag and the pole? The lighting on the US flag looks good. The clouds have a yellowish tinge on my screen.
