Mystical Lakeby JawnyRicoComment: This is very pretty. I love the soft glow of the picture and the smooth and glossy features of the reflection. How nice of the geese to fly in for you at that moment lol. Very nice! |

survival of the quickestby rozComment: I am not a fan of bug pics lol. They just creep me out. And this one does too - but only because of the clarity and focus. It is so real! I love the balance of orange and yellow in this pic. Congrats on the top 10 in a FS! |

Americanaby VeioletsComment: I can't add too much more than what you got. The only other thing that I would say is that the picture looks slightly out of focus. I'm one that likes to see sharp features in the main subject and nothing really jumps out at me. The light shining thru the flag is probably gorgeous and I think what might be cool would be if you could get closer to the house, and take a straight-on portrait shot of just the bench and the flag. |

Week 3by bassboneComment: Too bad there's not an "E" challenge, lol, cuz you have something pretty cool there. The first thing that caught my eye was the the beach being framed in the background. And then I like the sparkling sand too. |

Week 01 - Curlys.jpgby KenComment: We have curly-cue plants like this around here. I think it is fascinating to see nature grow in a curl instead of straight and narrow. What I like about this is that you have some of the curlies hidden in the bokeh, and that makes me want to keep searching the background. |

Bridge in the Parkby dsternerComment: What a pretty scene! I love the shadows on the bridge and then the puffs of snow on that bush to the right. I think this could use a bit of a boost in either contrast or a curves adjustment - but then of course you run the risk of losing some detail in the bridge.
Sincerely,
Your #1 FAN!!!!!! :D |

Reflect the skyby WalesPComment: Well, I don't know what to say lol other than I don't know what people want to see in an architecture shot. It's simple and straightforward and I love how it's reaching up into that gorgeous deep blue sky. |

Moorish Temple in Snowby CharleneComment: This looks like a really interesting building. I bet when the sun shines on it the colors are bright and vibrant. I'm curious about the textured diamond shapes too. I don't think you can do much with the way the weather was, but I would love to see this with a little more contrast. |

And You Will Be Known By The Temples That You Buildby jonfrommkComment: Whenever I see a picture of a temple, I always think of Japan. And the first thing that struck me is that your clouds in the background look like snow covered mountains! I thought that was pretty cool. Playing with saturation is a tricky thing, and I think this is what created the obvious appearance of noise that everyone is talking about. You need to get that noise ninja stuff, you'd be surprised what that can do for a photo. |

Lines from Natureby JuliBocComment: You know, maybe someone did what you described, while designing that arch. Maybe they had these shapes in mind. I didn't catch what you saw but my first thought was that it looks like the arch has a natural curtain hanging over it. I like the contrast between the soft arch and the sharp tree. |
