raysby eye has not seenComment: Sunrays like this are always exciting to see, but from a photographic standpoint this would have been improved with a skyline with a bit more interest - some trees or buildings, or even people, as the light would have allowed for strong silhouettes. |

Országházby howardjComment: Weather wise it looks as though this wasn't a particular good day for taking photographs! Whilst you have caught some good glistening water, the sky - which takes up more than half the photo - is dull and devoid of interest. |

Before the Gameby jfwolpertComment: A tighter crop, losing the right hand section to the division of the advertising board may help to make this composition a little more balanced. |

Tongueby shanelighterComment: Not a composition that appeals to me - it took me some time to work out what I was seeing. The lighting does't really work for me - both too bright and too dark in equal measure. I'm not sure what your aim was with this photo, but keep experimenting! |

17th Century Meets the 21stby missinseattleComment: I will own to bias here, as I am no lover of partial desaturation. I find the choice of blue as the only colour to remain makes the photo look very cold. I would suspect that you are trying to draw attention to the contrast between the historic dress and the intrusion of 21st century paraphenalia, but I feel it would have been better left. |

Sunset at Black\'s Beachby KnightmovesComment: The composition of this just doesn't do it for me. I like the idea of the lone swimmer returning from the sea, and the shadow and the use of silhouette is effective, although I would have preferred the figure to have been just a little larger and further into the frame. |
