An attractive scene, but perhaps you uploaded the wrong photo?

Uneven horizon and very hazy. The sky wasn't cooperating. But in this challenge, they were looking for a portrait.

What an amazing sea scape. I love it, but it DNMC.

excellent "try." Good view, but I would retry again too. Next time, try to get the leaves in color (too dark on the left and middle in comparision to the right) or have the entire landscape in focus. Otherwise, put this pic in Black and White.

Nice job showcasing the rugged seascape. I like the waves. I know this is in the wrong category, but mistakes happen. Life goes on :)

Its a lovely shot, but not really a portrait. I'm going to vote it for the great shot it is tho :)

Wow... I'll bet you're getting clobbered over this! Not only is it presumably in the wrong challenge, but it's not even in portrait format, so it wouldn't meet the OTHER challenge either. That's a pity because the image has a soothing, painterly feel to it. A little more contrast in the background and a crop off the top to keep the horizon off the center might help the image (in an appropriate topic).

I guess you have been getting slammed. I did the same as you. But, you will not beat me to the bottom. Best of luck. Great seascape and out-of-the-box shot. Van

I'm don't deduct for borders, but I think a black border would have been a better choice. The bright white (and thickness) draw my eyes to the outsides rather than to the subject of the picture. Great composition. 7.

Sorry. Usually I'm quite generous on DNMC pictures, but this challenge was so clear that I'm being much more harsh. I rather like the haziness in this image, and the composition is very nice, though I could wish that the foreground was more interesting - though it is very well photographed!

I fell I have to give it a 1 - which I've never done, just because I don't see the portrait... it's not that it's bad photo, just doen't meet the challenge.

I love it but, its the wrong challenge..... I hate that I kind of have to give you a score way lower than it deserves.
