gosling stepsby tvsometimeComment: Perfect synchronisation! I do wish the photo had been taken from a slightly lower vantage point. |

One day old by P-A-U-LComment: Swans are so hard to photograph well. You have nailed the exposure, and the shapes created by the mama swan are great. |

messy eaterby tangueraComment: I really like this photo - not just of the tiny kitty, but of the questions it raises in my mind of kitty's human mum. |

Spring = Bunnies in My Neighborhood!by elizadebComment: I so wish the bunny was facing in the other direction. The composition just feels a bit off. The interest for me is all in the lower half/third. The bunny is lovely, the textures and shapes of the wood interesting - assuming this is the full frame, it might be worth playing around with a crop. |

Big Babyby jerryc12Comment: Oh, how amazingly cute! Could maybe have done with just a little more light to lift it, but lovely nonetheless. |

The Thatcher's Pride: Royal Oak Inn, Withypoolby PenelopeKComment: My grandfather thatched this in the 1950s!!!!! He was quite an interesting and somewhat eccentric character - an atheist with a theology degree from Cambridge and a socialist intellectual. He enlisted under age as a stretcher bearer in the First World War, after which he became a life long pacifist and conscientious objector during WW2. I'm not quite sure when he turned his hand to thatching - for most of my mother's childhood at any rate. He gave up when he fell off a ladder and broke his back. |

Sparrow on Yewby namComment: Looks like a juvenile European Robin - not that you have them in the States! Nothing like our British sparrows, which are members of the finch family. Poor little thing - hope it was ultimately ok. |
