Rays of mist breaking through early morning mist are a lovely sight. I do feel that this photo would have benefited from some foreground interest, a fallen branch perhaps.

A pleasing bold and simple composition. Did you consider cropping it slightly? I might be tempted to bring in both the sides so that the background doesn't show at the right hand edge, but still keeping the eye on the 'third'.

On a purely subjective level, I really dislike the post-processing. Although I clearly haven't seen the original, I can't imagine that this treatment does it any favours.

This one is slightly tilted - you can tell, because the perpendiculars lean slightly towards the left. That said, it doesn't really detract from the photo - you have got a good composition here, and the flags really are the icing on the cake, blowing perfectly. Nice one.

My cat still does this (although my ear lobe is his preferred 'nipple' of choice), and he is 8 years old! He was taken from his mother at three weeks old (had a manky eye and the farmer was going to drown him...); some cats that are taken away too young suck on woollen clothing, which is rather more socially acceptable, I guess.
