Curvy Keyboardby levyj413Comment: I think I recognise this - a fabulous staircase, Levy? Either way, fits the theme spot on, and photographed with considerable skill. I love the way the composition sucks the viewer in, as though in to a vortex. |

Confidentiallyby klorineforbrainsComment: I am one of the ignoramuses that didn't get what this photo was of. I could see what I took to be blood on a white surface cut through with a line, and rising from this a flame. I still don't understand why you made the sealing wax splatter every where, and I don't get the flame at all. In my defence I was so confused by this one that I didn't leave a vote at all. |

Michaylaby ZygoteComment: Astounded that this came in with an average score of just 4.8419 - I thought (and still think) it lovely, with good use of light. |

Arpeggioby ZoomdakComment: Spot on for the challenge. Wonderful organic curves and shapes - mineral or vegetable? Either way I love the texture, composition and colour; excellent work. |

Relax: Take it easyby CutterComment: My second choice of entry was a similar shot to this - and it works! I personally would have cropped out all of the water, as the lines of the architecture should be the major focus of the image, and the bluey green of the water challenges that fo rthe viewers attention. |

song of the beachby saintaugustComment: Gosh, that rock really does look like a big cat howling, perhaps in grief - the title is spot on. It is ne tiny detail that lets this down for me, and that is the indentation in the sand 2/5ths of the way up on the right hand side. Tiny, but distracting. |
