Very cool shot, the shadows in the background are a little distracting, try the shot again on an overcast day if you can, still an 8 from me, great shot

i love the green of the water and i like how what i assume is gauss blur in the background adds a 3-d effect, very nice /9

My second choice of entry was a similar shot to this - and it works! I personally would have cropped out all of the water, as the lines of the architecture should be the major focus of the image, and the bluey green of the water challenges that fo rthe viewers attention.

I wish the back wall were in focus as I think it would take a very mundane rhythm (horizontal rectangles) and add just the right splash of jazz to it (vertical shapes, repeating arches, irregular sized blocks). I do like the play of light and shadow behind the main subject.
