Crudeby TejComment: Impressive work. The texture of the glass is displayed well, and the bulb is offset well by the very pleasing background. An excellent study - I do hope that the darkened edges count as a border rather than a vignette, 'though. |

Alone/Togetherby figaroComment: I like this very much. The photo fits the challenge well, with the dual contrast of the technicals, and of the concept. The only thing I would change (and this really is a pernickity niggle) is the white trainers of the lone man. 10 from me. |

Pine Coneby WallitComment: Good use of side lighting to reveal texture, although maybe just a tad too bright. You have a number of sensor dust spots visible in the plain background - under basic rules you are allowed to clone/heal these. |
