The Long Walkby PelleComment: I like this enormously - very simple, but so strong. Pat of me would like the lone figure to be trudging his way across the expanse, but viewed from behind leaving the frame - but I like it just fine as it is, too. |

Peaseblossomby MichaelCComment: I have revisited this photograph a number of times over the course of the week, and here we are at the end I am still unsure about my feelings towards it. To be honest, I do find the photo somewhat unsettling. The effect of the pose and style of processing give the image a whimsical feel, part Cicely Mary Barker, part Midsummer Night's Dream, and yet at the same time there is a hint of knowingness, even of eroticism that I am very uncomfortable with. There seems to be something of a dichotomy within the image, and certainly in my reaction to it. |

Long-Tailed Titby mexicoComment: So difficult to get a decent photo of these little birds as thy flit about at such a speed, never staying still. I have tried and tried but never succeeded, so am impressed with your capture. |

Sand-sun-and-serenity-2.jpgby jomariComment: What fun you have had with these two - looks like they were happy for you to get quite close. That heat that we have been reading about must have got to them! |

Pas-des-deux.jpgby jomariComment: What an interesting pair of gulls, quite unlike anything we get here in the UK. The pose of birds and the composition is spot on, with the symmetry of the raised legs - well seen. Oh, and I love the title! |

Bird's Ass Viewby cynthiannComment: What a great, almost abstract, photo. From the position of the wings it looks like the bird has just launched itself into flight - a very impressive and difficult shot to get. |

On his own by MelethiaComment: I didn't view the entries to Trees whilst they were in voting - this is gorgeous; the light is amazing, and you have used it to very best advantage. |
