The "Swinging Bridge"by miaryComment: Blimey (and there is every danger this will!) that is super bright and saturated! Tone down the saturation a little, and you have a pleasant photo. That is an incredibly clear reflection. |

Model Newsby stphqComment: I don't get the concept here - I want to find some link between the newspaper pages and the model, perhaps pages detailing abductions, or crimes against women of some such; nor do I understand the title - maybe i am looking for more than there was in your idea, but as I am able to understand the photo, I am unable to find anything of substance. |

The Guardianby theluissalesComment: I suspect that you have chosen mono in order to lessen the impact of the burnt highlights on the chest feathers. A good close up with a complimentary background, but a shame about the exposure. |

Next!by VenserComment: Up there in my top 10 of the challenge. Particularly like the atmosphere provided by the rising steam. Some time ago I started a project to photograph snack stands/caravans, but haven't got far with it yet. |

Exhaustedby ChandiComment: The title is, to me, so much weaker than the image. A really interesting photograph. |

portalby GilesComment: These reservoir sink holes always intrigue me, and yes, a portal to another world is just as I think of them. Your composition combined with the night time exposure and eerie sky add to the feel. |

The Guardianby hesitantComment: I find the lack of depth to this somewhat disconcerting. Although you have used a small aperture and there is clearly a very deep depth of field, your choice of processing has flattened the image to a point that my brain struggles to accept is a photo rather than a painting. That said, I don't dislike it, but I feel I would prefer just a lighter touch on the tone-mapping to retain a little more of a photographic feel. All entirely subjective, and others may love it just as is. |
