This is a completely new type of photography that I haven't done before. Not quite sure how to go about conveying what I want to convey and how people read into such images. To that end, I sincerely appreciate all the feedback and comments.

Not sure I'm into this type of photography for the long run, but it is quite challenging in and of itself.

The setup is reasonably straightforward. The model's sitting on a white blanket on top of a glass table that's flashed from below.

Tried quite a few other lighting setups, but chose this for its slightly unconventional look and for how the skin texture came out harshly.

Uniquely lit, to be sure. I do like the image, but not the skin texture. There is a delicacy about the image that is not served by that choice. I admire your entering it here, where nude images are generally not rewarded.

There are is almost too much symbolism in here and we get lost; but the glow is amazing and the details of the hands spectacular.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I'm a bit of a fan of nude work. This is odd and powerful. I don't know what to make of it - performance art? The light from below is intriguing in what it says about the context and the rope is just plain mystifying.

Critical stuff: the image is more confusing than rewarding - there's danger in that.

Overall: Bravo for offering something so different. I'm not sure I like it , but I certainly admire it.

I can see what you were going for here, but it does not really work for me. I have no connection to her and the nudity, ropes, and title do not convey any real meaning to me.

The title is, to me, so much weaker than the image. A really interesting photograph.

Great set up. The lighting seems to be coming from underneath her? How did you manage that when it seems shes sitting on the floor because of the way her legs are so spread out? Id love to know how, id love to use such a lighting technique. I hope this gets up there in score, but know this community, some will find this distasteful. Its borderline, however I think its a well done nude. Great job.
