He was just getting prepared - he had sent my SO off in search of a bottle opener. He was quite possessive over his beer - note good traditional Yorkshire bitter, and wouldn't let it out of his sight.

Good base photo. Strong mono conversion with excellent tonal range. Well applied, believable, texture. Only real cons for me are that I would have liked to see a little peeling or flaking, and on a somehwat petty note, I am drawn to the brace which is sort of holding him together and is at odds with the rest of the photo!

The very harsh light really hurts this. An interesting scene that would have benfited from being photographed much earlier in the day.

Definitely meets the challenge, and a strong mono conversion with a good tonal range. Composition makes the most of the scene, but at the end of the day, relatively uninteresting.

Cute child, but the blown highlights and lack of contrast don't really work for me. Perhaps you were going for the idea that the child was falling apart by the fact that his limbs meld into the bright light?

Definitely meets the challenge, but the scene is hurt by the rather harsh light - there must be some wonderful textures there would have been interesting to focus on, perhaps much earlier in the day.

Intriguing, and inspirational art. It is the sort of image from which people will take many different things. For me, it is the idea of a fractured society in which the individual no longer has that sense of community that bound us together. Loneliness, solitariness and desolation ensue.
