wonderful lighting on the water and bricks with just the right control of exposure

the level of details - the crossing lines, the depths of the bricks all provides the right level of complexity. it is funny how we get conditioned to only think simple images are good - i think complexity can work very well and you have done it here

i can see why the boat out of water is just that - it seems that if it was in the water, it would quickly find its way to the bottom...very cool stuff

The composition is very solid - the boat in the foreground works well, even in the presence of the complex background. The choice of framing with the bridge really works well. I wonder about the dodging around the boat - it seems a bit overly done compared to the greyness of the rest of the image.
