Firenze Risplendenteby JimiRoseComment: the light on the city below and the hills beyond is really nice - but there are the typical pixelation issues in the details that are often seen with tonemapping |

nearing journey's endby MichaelCComment: i like the lighting on the woman's face a lot - she really seems to glow - i just worry that the lighting on the man and the belly are a bit unbalanced |

The Familyby bauerfan71Comment: lovely approach to a family picture - the background is a bit distracting with the wrinkles seeming to take a bit of attention away from the scene -maybe separating the three from the background a bit more may have been in order - also, the hand of the baby seems to be a bit blurry |

Fossil Fuelerby drydocComment: the very natural colors, the soft dappled light from the trees above, the underbrush reclaiming the land, the gentle sloping path to the far right - all very nice elements - a nice effort |

Who nose?by VenomComment: funny perspective shot of the camel - the nose in focus sure is an interesting approach and one that works pretty well |

Kingfisher White Throatby ZerosizComment: that is one awesome bird - and a really good photo of it as well - the focus on the eye and beak is right on the money - i just wonder if a slightly different crop to avoid it being so centered could have even made this a bit better - it might be possible to crop out/ clone out a few of the small branches to further highlight this cool colored bird |

Heronby IronworkerComment: herons are sure lovely birds - this one seems a bit lost in the grasses due to non-ideal lighting - and the necessary sharp focus to really separate the bird from the background seems to be missing as if it was taken with a slow shutter speed |
