Dandelion Symmetryby Perfect-CalamityComment: nice choice of subject, but the image is a little soft in focus on the dandelion seems a little overexposed at the top of the image - the pedals don't seem to have any detail compared to those at the bottom of the image. |

Day 2 - Castle Hill Lighthouseby CapeSailComment: I like the perspective - good job bringing the rocks in the foreground into the image.
I need a ND filter as well. One option you might consider is to perform tonemapping on this image. You took this in RAW and it should have enough information to try with Photomatix Pro, etc. It's not perfect in most cases, but may help avoid the blown out sky a little. Underexposing the image a little and using Phmx Pro has worked pretty well on some of my b/w conversions with bright sky. |

Structureby mawearComment: I love the wispy clouds in the sky contrasting against the crisp geometric shapes of this dead centered image of the bridge. The conversion almost has a bluish tint that works extremely well. |

IMG_Day1Mr.Orange.jpgby noranekoComment: Those are some HUGE eyes. I like the detail in the whiskers and fur. I almost think that a dark background may have worked better with this image - helping to emphasize the light highlights in the coat. The way that it was cropped (just missing the tops of the ears) also leaves me with wanting just that little extra. |

Cosima B&Wby AliciaComment: i like the line on this - the placement of the shadow off horizontal is a really nice touch. |

Day 1: Rainy Lotby RebeccaComment: what a great simple image - I would never imaging that sprinkling in a parking lot could be so beautiful - those rings from the rain drops make this an absolute winner. |

DSC_0027-shell_01_web.jpgby alexjackComment: i love the natural contrast of the shell set off against the dark rock. I think maybe even a little dodging on the shell may have helped bring out the shell even more. |
