dont exactly know why this image appeals so much to me .. but it does ..
the guy looking straight into the camera with almost no emotion is actually emotive .. like he doesnt care .. whatever emotional overlay i want to put onto this and whatever the reality .. is neither here nor there ..
i hope this is recognized for the excellent slice of humanity that it is . :)

i saw this photograph a couple of days ago and it has stayed with me .. as such a poignant moment .. i have come back to give you a vote .. be terrible to forget ..
there is so much going on in this image that just screams humanist photography .. the old dog .. the whisky .. the touching moment caught between the man and the dog .. the run down environment .. this pulls at my heart strings .. makes me want to reach out and help that man ..
such emotion .. :)

and when i voted i voted unbiased .. because i was unsure who had taken the photograph .. i mean .. there are a heap of mices in the world ... i like calling them mices .. rather than mice .. sounds cuter ..
but this had such an appeal to me .. animals in all shapes and sizes .. when photographed to perfection are winners in my book .. this really does deserve to be hung on a wall somewhere .. it it adorable .. :)

if it had been level my personal opinion is that it would have lost a lot of its appeal .. the tilt creates a bit of dissonance that adds tremendously to this image ..:)
