very disappointing when i see the votes ..
its a wonderful image .. especially when taking minimal into account ..
it can be disheartening when seeing the breakdown of votes on your image and the comparison with other photos in a challenge .
but i spose everyone has an opinion .. and we're all different ..
i try and separate myself from feeling disappointed when something i put in doesnt do as well as i would hope .. but sometimes that difficult to do .. i think of it as an opportunity for personal development .. !! .. often not achieved .. ;)

SERIOUSLY .. !! .. so i've seen three pics that could ribbon .. this makes four .. !! .. amazing shot .. the sort of photo that makes me jealous .. capturing a bird in flight .. i've tried and it was quite challenging .. so i know its not easy ...
but whether its an easy or difficult shot .. this is magic anyway .. tack sharp .. and beautiful .. love it ..

how good to see you here in this grateful side challenge .. altho i'm sorry to say its not getting the attention it deserves .. !! ..

anyway .. it looks like you have been .. or are .. in the most interesting of places ...
i have recently got into Game of Thrones .. or GoT .. for the disciples .. and this scene has that feel about it .. desolate ..
altho there are places that are lush too ..
in your post you are grateful for family .. and this image brings that to mind so powerfully ..
there are so many stories that those statues could represent .. i've thought of a few .. but would have difficulty verbalizing them ..

WOW .. this is amazing .. this would be the fifth ribbon i've seen in this challenge .. !! .. ;)
love to know why there are so many swans in the same place ..
will have to remember to ask after rollover ..
what is particularly excellent about this is that one swan looking right at me .. and of course the background colours contrasting with the birds beaks .. perfect .. :)
