just looking thru this challenge .. and saw this .. as a thumb it just shouted out .. 'OPEN ME .. OPEN ME' ..
so i did .. this is gorgeous .. what a stunning dof and the shapes are perfect ..
it really is a beautiful story this pic .. the leaf and the setting or rising sun .. like a farewell or a greeting .
i can see by the breakdown of the votes that a lot of ppl really appreciated this ..
but some were extremely harsh .. unfortunately goes with the territory here in dpc ...
i believe the voters were a lot more 'forgiving' and positive back in the day ..
dpc is a bit like an aging person who doesnt mellow with time and age .. but gets cranky and cantankerous and just plain grumpy .. lol .. ;)

as this was opening .. which took over 30 seconds .. i was thinking it has to be food as that is what you do so well ..
and it is .. when i know what this is .. as in a slice of red onion .. it becomes so much more to me ..
before i knew i was wondering what it was .. i read your comment after i had looked at it btw ..
its the most intense piece of red onion i have ever seen .. and perfect for the challenge ..
