do a painterly edit and some ppl will mark you down ..

this was one of my favs in the challenge .. just because its such a stunning and dramatic image .. i can also imagine it as a painting .. and that to me therefore satisfies the challenge ..
there were other pics in the challenge that were edited painterly to the max and some of them i was blown away by ..

i go by my feelings when i look at photos in challenges .. not my brain as such ..
of course taking into account the challenge requirements ..
but to me thats what art is all about .. how a painting, photo or whatever makes us feel ...
dissecting isnt the point ..
just my opinion tho ..

anyway .. i for one am glad you left it in ..
its the sort of image i'd show to my family . and they'd go OMG .. thats amazing .. :)

this took so long to load .. and i was wondering if the city was in the lower part of the image .. ;)
near the end of loading i realized the city was the light in the distance ..
this is just amazing .. and beautiful .. and so worthy of a ribbon ..
