i feel this will go awesome in the challenge ..
my personal preference would have been for the girl to have been smiling or happy ... just that when i see someone smiling and happy the energy transfers over to me and it lifts my mood ..
but thats just me .. other ppl often identify with sadness .. or emotion-less .. which this girls seems to be ..
her eyes are AMAZING .. i have looked into them for a long time .. :)

photos where the subject is looking moody and not at the camera can be very appealing .. i think it resonates with the viewers own energy ..
i personally prefer happy smiling joyful images that lift my mood and make me happy .. but it takes all types ..

OMG .. as in .. OH MY GOODNESS . !!!!! ..
talk about intense .. and dramatic .. and just wonderful ..
this is an outstanding example of black and white flower photography ..
everything about this is captivating .. i'm blown away ..
what i especially love about this is that centre piece and how those petals are curled protectively around the ones inside .. the dynamic feeling of this is also incredible .. :)

first photo i've opened in this black and white challenge and i'm thinking it could be a blue ribbon .. if this is the calibre of photos in this challenge it will be an awesome ride looking thru it ..
for some reason i'm thinking this has a Dennis flavour about it .. of course i could be totally wrong .. but if i am then its a very great compliment .. whoever shot this has great photographic skills and your editing rocks .. :)

Boardering on trouble

just checking out some of your pics and saw this .. AWESOME .. !! ..
its a fantastic action shot .. :)
and then i read about the back story ..
funny .. not funny .. but i broke my left elbow once in a head-on car accident back in 1984 .. and then again three years ago getting thru a fence to take a photo .. the second break on an existing break meant i had to have metal put in it .. i'm hoping to get that out soon ..
in that same car accident .. a really solid HG holden station wagon .. the hand-brake handle thingy smashed my left knee and totally shattered my knee cap .. i have no knee cap there now and feel that its not a great hindrance to movement .. the sliced tendons on the other hand are ..
so we are 'twins' in elbows and knees .. sorta .. lol .. ;)
