thanks Anita .. it always surprises me when something i enter does well .. especially insects as i know many ppl have an aversion to them .. altho i do feel that mine and other ppl's macros here have gone a long way to helping ppl see them in another light ..
i know when i first started taking macros of insects it was like a whole world opened up .. their diversity and incredibly interesting anatomies blew me away .. :)

this is truly something that would speak to ppl's souls .. it did to mine .. the connection between the old guy and the magpie .. a wonderful moment captured .. magpies are actually one of the most intelligent creatures on the planet .. just goes to show that brain size has nothing to do with it ..

i love Larry's comment .. i'm well trained too .. toddy will fetch .. but only for a while .. then i'm the one who has to fetch ..
i loved this in voting .. it has such a wonderful feeling of movement .. which is actually quite difficult to achieve with a still photo .. congrats on a great place in the challenge .. :)
