i didnt vote on this challenge .. but if i had i would probably have given it a 5 or a 6 ..
i love the colours and the blur and the intensity .. but without the title i really dont know what's going on ..
when i view a photo in a challenge .. unless its really obvious that it doesnt satisfy the challenge .. i'm more inclined to give the photographer the benefit of the doubt .. because it might be that i am missing something that could be obvious to other ppl .. and of course to the photographer .. so in many cases i will assume it does meet the challenge ..
you really got hammered .. and i'm glad you're not upset by that .. but wanting to know why .. (i'm coming from the thread you put in btw .. ) ..
these days if a photo i enter does really badly .. which is relative of course .. like you, i want to know why .. not so that i change my style or whatever .. but to understand where other ppl are coming from ..
in the past a bad reception would have had a bad effect on me .. i'm so glad it doesnt anymore .. !! .. ;)

i'm finding this a more subtle image than some of the others i've opened .. which isnt a lot btw ..
but this takes a bit of time to appreciate .. for me that is ..
and the more i look at it the more impact it has ..
those clouds look so solid and heavy .. the light in the distance ..
