that seat there with the rope .. looks like unfinished business ..
i'm imagining a farmer type sitting in that seat having a coffee break ..
or maybe a photographer sitting in that seat .. chimping .. and what a beautiful scene to chimp in .. !! ..

how wonderful that they painted that old building red .. it really pops ..
i have seen this building before in at least one other of your challenge entries .. what a great find ..
you could have a series of very different images with that building in them .. and have an exhibition with the photos .. i feel it would be a great success .. as is your place in this challenge .
CONGRATULATIONS on the blue .. loving your composition .. and the mounds of hay? .. if you ever saw the adam's family on tv years ago there was a character in it who was just hair .. reminded me of that .. so much so that i can imagine those mounds wandering around .. lol .. :)

the winter scene .. the snow falling .. the building in the distance ..
and what really makes this for me is the broken fence ..
adds a sense of almost sadness .. loss .. when a photo brings out an emotion thats something very special .. :)

I'm sorry this got so little love during voting .. as in comments and high votes ..

it's a bit sad that things are quite different here in dpc than they were back in the day .. where I feel there was so much more of a community atmosphere with more comments and a less harsh approach to voting ..
they keep saying its a place to learn .. and it was for me for many years .. but when our photos go unappreciated with so little feedback as to why .. it's no wonder ppl are leaving ..

I love this photo .. its very beautiful .. and thankyou for the backstory .. that's just another way we can connect here in dpc .. xxxx

it appears i didnt get to vote but it would have got at least an 8 ..
lots of stuff going on for me .. had elbow surgery on friday .. they removed metal out of my arm .. and thats a long story ..
wish i had voted .. it deserved a heap more love than it got ..
the colours .. the whimsy .. the crazy details .. and of course the general feel ... all very attractive and wonderful ..

results here in dpc are often confounding .. i'm in the process of trying to accept it all .. sometimes a difficult endeavour .. but where this came in the line-up i find quite disappointing ..

i did think of you when i viewed this in voting .. thought it deserved to be up there with the top ones ..
but this is a photography site Marion .. lol .. and turning your photographs into graphic art is often frowned upon .. :(
i'm all for going where others fear to go .. altho i do like for my photos to be appreciated .. bit of a quandary .. do i step out and get creative knowing it will probably be unappreciated or do i go with something i feel will get me higher votes ..
sometimes the two go hand in hand ..
anyway .. you have some wonderful images here in dpc where you have got extremely creative .. i love 'em .. :)

i think even with all the other excellent images that ppl entered in this challenge .. this one was up there as something so full of personality and whimsy .. it left all the others behind ..
its FANTASTIC .. !! ..
i dont think it looks pasted together .. it all fits ..
you have such a connection to your creativity .. its wonderful to see what you come up with ..
