THIS IS BRILLIANT . !! ..
the feeling of ecstasy is so evident in that man's entire demeanor and of course his happy smiling face .. the black and white treatment is perfect ..
i'm hoping this gets a ribbon .. its that good .. totally paradise ..
in some ways giving you a 5 to start with and a 9 now will be like a tiny bit of paradise for you too .. lol .. ;)

but i'm really liking your image and your treatment ..
the vignette really works .. lighting up the centre of the scene .. creating a quite hopeful feeling .. like a welcome .. :)

in darkness and in light .
much like the living and the 'dead' ..
i do believe we live in a certain amount of darkness here and find the light when we leave .. this is a lovely image .. and of course the light is beautiful . :)

awwwww .. feel a bit sad seeing this .. as i imagine mittens was a very well loved creature .. couldve been a cat, a rabbit a guinea pig .. a small rodent .. who knows .. but the cross represents love to me ..
it may have been constructed for this challenge .. but thats neither here nor there ... its a powerfully emotive image . :)

first thing that came to mind was .. higgledy-piggledy ..
i'm not big on traditions .. and going to visit my mum at her grave . .
i know that she's not actually there .. she's somewhere much more beautiful and joyful ..
so i dont mind seeing these graves apparently not cared for with no flowers etc .. we dont need to visit graves to remember those we love . . but thats just me ..

looks like in this world Harman had more of the things that ppl value of a material nature than Morris ...
my belief is that now that they have left this world they wont be valuing those things quite as much ..
