OMG .. love this shot coz its sooooo me!!! ... altho its also a good photograph too . :) .. i love that flash of light with the rest of the image dark .. i like how i can just see the details, shown by the light from the fridge .. be real interested to see the edit on this .......

you live in the most stunning area ... i'm sooooo jealous ... those beautiful skies .. you are able to capture the most beautiful images roger with your camera .. i love this one so much ... love your composition and the colours in the sky ..
suggestions on how to edit are always a very personal thing ... i could say i'd do this and someone else would say they'd do that .. either way could work really well ... just different ... i've noticed on a previous one of yours that you actually went lighter .. but because i like the dark moody feel i just about cant help myself from going darker .. so i'd be intensifying the colours in the sky with adjustment layers ... like saturating selectively with hue/sat or even selective colour ... probably use levels to darken the sky .. and then erasing in the adjustment layer where it impacted on the landscape coz it'd make it too dark .. you erase in adjustment layers using black foreground colour and then if you erase too much then white foreground colour will just put it back, sort of .. i use the brush tool ... you dont use the eraser ... you may already know all this, but someone else reading this might not .. i dont think i'd crop it at all ... its a stunning image right now ...
of course there are many ways to do very similar things in photoshop .. if i had taken this shot i would have taken it in RAW and would probably process it twice ... once for the sky and once for the landscape ... or i may have done a similar thing by dodging and burning ... the list goes on ...

an amazing shot that's perfect just the way it is .. of course that's before i see how you edit it ... perfect will just become more perfect ... i personally dont think the underexposure is a problem, i'd say it just give this more depth ... i love your composition .... love that water and the refection ... excellent ..

i actually thought i'd commented on this beautiful photograph adam but apparently i havent .. wot tha!!! ... anyway as i've said before and i'll say again ... the voters suck!!! ... this is a gorgeous image and totally satisfies the challenge ... you just cant pick it eh? .. if i'd put this in i'd'v been spitting chips seeing its progress .... *^%((&%%^(*(*)%$ or wotever .. not sure how you do those swear thingys !!!

bummer ad .... dont worry you've shown you're an excellent photographer ... this is just an allowable indiscretion!! .. its actually a good photographer but not dpc friendly i think the term is ... will you be able to make the weekend of 31st??? .. see thread ... think owen can make it and hopefully shez and brett .. not sure about any others . . this is probably not the place to do this msg but i'm buggared and cant be bothered doing it any other way !!! ... hope you and your wife are well and those beautiful children of yours ...
