 I used the Raw converter to add more contrast, cropped, and added a gaussan blur selectively.

The blur works very well for this - and I love the glint in the eye. Nicely edited and I like the crop you chose.

never saw the original ... just had a look .. great process ... not to much and not too little ... its an excellent shot ...
