i personally reckon the voters must be overtaken by aliens .. this score is so not right ... go check out nick nixter's candid image and his score .. i reckon his image is so much better than mine and yet the voters didnt .. that score is just one more example that the voters dont know if their bums are on fire and have no idea about art .. this is another .. these sort of scores, when i compare them with the photographs that actually beat them, is starting to creep me out ..
i know its a good score shanny, but i reckon it deserves much better .. :):)xx
and you're lucky you can shoot at the mall .. i've been told to put my camera away about 5 times at the mall we regularly go to .. it'll probably happen another 5 x 100 times as well .. !!:)x

love this photograph nick ... a fantastic candid capture .. love your processing, love the shot ... it is just plain excellent .. i especially love the way the image is broken up with the white of the van and the black where your man is standing .. the red bag, the guys skin, the way his suit sort'v merges with the background, the way the vans wheel and tyre are nearly indistinct .. the way the back door of the van and a shadow on the footpath create a great frame for the man .. this is a total WOW .. wot on earth can the voters be thinking .. this is so much better than my entry ... this score shits me .. :):) ..

i love both your edits ... i love the other one coz there is more detail in the wood and the floor, so you see the environment better ..
this one really makes you focus on you and your gorgeous horse more coz there are no distractions ..
hmmmmm i'm not sure, but i'm wondering how it'd be without the ceiling & cropped nearer his back legs as well, but retaining the width .. probably not ... coz the way it is gives a feeling of really moving out .. ??
both are powerful and beautiful but in different ways ... this should definitely be printed out, framed and hung on your wall ... :):)xx

excellent dramatic image ... so dark and moody .. i love it .. and hey .. i love the can too ...!!:):)..
after i wrote that bit about the can, i put a piece of paper over that side of your photograph, so i could see wot it would like without the can ....
i'm gonna have to change my mind and say i reckon it looks better without it and agree with everyone else for a change ... altho i just did the paper thing again and the can sort of adds a certain something .. i reckon with or without the damn can this is an awesome photograph .... who would'v thought that a can could get so many comments!!!!!!!:):)

bummer this got a dq .. its an excellent image and i love the blue sky fading down to that fantastic glow of the sun and the silhouettes .. the grain works so well for this, it makes it look a bit like a painting .. :)
