wot a spectacular place, it looks like its in the middle of nowhere .. beautiful sky and an excellent photograph ..
i went to the beach today too ... i live in australia and its the middle of winter now ... i drove 45 mins from home to get to the beach .. i was wearing a singlet, a spencer and a jumper and trackies coz the temp at home was 15 degrees celsius .. i get to wollongong, where the beach is, and its like 21 degrees ... i was taking photographs of surfers for ages but had to take the singlet and spencer off .. i was boiling up .. THATS WINTER!!! ... must admit it was a bit unusual for it to be THAT warm tho ...

great movement .. i wish i could get insects to perch on my finger ... like a bee for instance .. bees are particularly difficult to photograph .. i put one in a glass the other day, so i could get close enough to photograph him, but he just wouldnt stay still ... i love how your dragonfly's face and body are very focused .. well, it may not actually be his face ..

omg jon .. i put a tree with the bark sort'v peeling off in my portfolio the other day .. i called it 'bark' .. its a very different scene to yours and a different type of tree .. and i dont think the bark on your tree is actually coming off in quite the same way as my one .. its more like a big chunk ... your tree looks dead as well .. i think mine is still alive, altho i'm not sure .. when i come to think about it the only similarity is that we both took photographs of a tree ... i can see a very scarey face in yours .. thats another difference ... :):) .. sorry i sound like i'm raving ... think i need to sleep .. :)

Day 1 - Bratwurst

omg .. i thought they were worms as a thumb & i didnt know wot the tongs were .. as it was opening i saw the title, so the sausages were not a total surprise ...
we had some excellent sausages last night .. they were lamb, fetta and spinach ... very tasty when done on the barbeque !! .. looks like these were done on the bbq too .. :)..
edit .. i had another look at the thumb after i posted and it's obvious they are sausages .. looks like i need some better glasses !!!
