wot a sad and wonderful story .. so many mixed emotions .. i'm sitting here having read about you, your brother and this place and it nearly brought tears to my eyes .. i'm feeling a bit down so that might be why ..
i'm really liking the lighting, the tones and those beautiful shadows which in my mind sort'v meld well with the tone of your story .. :)

you do have a wonderful talent for portraiture .. i've just read the critique and he said pretty much wot i would have, but hesitated because i am so aware that anything i say is only my opinion ... i love the lighting too .. i also really love the beautiful rich colours .. :)

hey amanda .. i've just gone thru and commented on maybe two pages of photographs in our slice, one after the other, so please dont be offended if i dont read all about your new floor .. at another time, when i wasnt hankering to get in photoshop and start processing another image, i would'v read it for sure ..
i will say congratulations on your new floor tho .. i know how excellent it is to get a upgrade in your house .. we just did an extension and its FANBLASTIC .. that's an abbreviation for fanbloodytastic .. and a very lame one too .. i promise i will read your next photographer's comment all the way thru ..
in the time its taken me to write this i could'v read yours .. well nearly !!! .. lol .. :)
