stunning colours .. love the way the leaf underneath seems to be cupping those flowers .. i sort'v prefer seeing more of the surroundings tho, like in your original crop, and the last two flowers on the left hand side .. .. just my personal preference .. :)

yes, i like this a lot better in sepia than the black and white, but i really like the colours in the original better than either, and the crop .. i like how i can see the rubbish and the vehicle .. the reflection in the window behind them also seems to stand out more ... i love reflections !! .. i'm wondering about a bit'v sharpening or something to give it more conrast/sharpness ?? .. :)

love that little squirrel .. we dont have them in australia so he seems particularly exotic !! .. are they like pests where you live, a bit like rabbits here ?? ..
anyway . its a brilliant photograph and process ... love the more gritty look and the way you've given the squirrel a different hue from the background .. he really stands out ..
now i'll have to try your method of dodging and burning.. there are so many ways to do things in photoshop .. :)

no wonder you're looking so serious .. a few millimeters and that weird bear creature will be entering your brain thru your ear .. if your processing suddenly changes in appearance or undergoes a dramatic turn for the better or worse we'll blame it on the bear .. on the other hand, if we dont see you for a while, or ever, we'll know the reason .. :)
