You've put it well and I have to agree. The pretty smile ones are nice, but I"m the same, it's the intense moody shots that I appreciate more. I really had to push myself to be "pleasant" when I was doing my shots, or try to loosen up a bit and be goofy. My instinct for these photos has been to be really moody, intense, serious, etc. for some reason. Which is strange because I'm the biggest goof ever.

And this photo is awesome by the way. :)
