 I'd like to say this was a capture in the wild, but it's actually a rescue owl that is one of the handful of residents at the "Birds of Prey" exhibit at the Austin Nature and Science Center downtown. I've visited several times before, but never has this owl been so alert in its corner cubby before. I didn't go there for this challenge, but it was on my mind when I saw those huge eyes staring right at me and Henry at our latest visit.

Congratulations! Acuity or stare would be equal for the great capture. Maybe you took this during the day and the owl could not see so well. You caught this perfect gaze extremely well and yes, a wise owl.
