Clever title. Uncle Sam looks pretty miserable out in the snow. I think a tighter crop, with some area cut from the left and top, might make this even stronger.

LOL - I suspect a lot of the Americans on this site are going to vote according to their politics on this one. And anyone who has read the forums knows there is quite a contingent of very vocal conservatives here. I've gotta agree with you, though, Nick was right - and I hope that guy's son and/or daughter isn't in Iraq right now.

I really like this! The eye up in the left third is a swell touch. This seems like it may catch the essence of Whiterook, but of course, only he could really determine that :-) Great composite regardless.

I love this shot. I gave it a 7, and am surprised you didn't score higher. The texture and backlighting is great. I suspect Bob is right that the voters wanted just a little more sharpness, but I still think you got robbed!
