 this is a very misleading image, as i'm not really sailing, just steering her. i sailed dinghies as a child, so do knowhow to do it, but my man is te sailor. at the moment, my role is really child control on the boat. when he's a little older, i will takemore of an active role.

the reason why i'm looking so alert and important with my head up like this is i'm too short to see over the bimini (an awning that covers the cabin hatch) so am straining to see where we're going so i don't ground us.

o, yeah, i'm cool...

If you didn't look like such a modern woman, I would think this looked like an old nautical portrait. Great post processing.

You're definitely cool, no doubt about it. And steering to me is sailing (shows how much I don't know). I like what you've done with this shot, it's really effective in conveying the feel of being out on the boat and really concentrating.

Oh yeah. . .you are cool! And this is an awesome photo. I love looking at people's self-portraits. Its so awesome to see them in real life. But I have to say. ..my favorite ever is still the one of you at the piano :)

You look like you're about 15 years old in this picture. :-) Nice dreamy sorta feel to it - much like I'd imagine it would feel like to be sailing on a really good day with your people onboard with you.
