Strollerby JuliBocComment: This is a good capture of emotion. Unfortunately, the photo has an odd green tint - might be a filter setting on your camera? |

street birds at sunsetby 99PercentComment: Although this doesn't fit the typical "street challenge" ideal, I think it is an interesting interpretation. Makes me think about all the birds we see every day and don't even think about. |

Little Poserby fotomann_foreverComment: Wow, Leroy, your exposure is stunning. I can't believe how well you controlled the light on this - you obviously know your technicals! I think this deserved the blue, personally. |

A little slice of sunshineby KelliComment: I love this shot. I gave it a 7, and am surprised you didn't score higher. The texture and backlighting is great. I suspect Bob is right that the voters wanted just a little more sharpness, but I still think you got robbed! |

Charge of the Pepper Brigadeby MelethiaComment: Excellent personification with this entry. Title suits these peppers excellently. Nice, crisp details and very strong composition for simple subject. As usual, great entry Deb! |

Orange Abstractby snafflesComment: Susan, I love the lighting here, really good idea. I think you got hurt because the oranges aren't quite in focus, and DPC is very unforgiving in that area in general. Not sure if you used a tripod, but if not, almost impossible to get sharp focus handheld at 1/4. |

Fruit Salad, anyone?by levyj413Comment: Jeffrey, when voting I found this to be a solid entry, though maybe not inspired. I do think it has a humorous appeal, especially with the banana ears, but the overhead lighting is pretty harsh. Kudos for the diagonal composition, adds a creative touch.

Gazing upon our own reflectionby posthumousComment: Don, you are always counted upon to be original. Although I admit I'm not wild about part of the foreground (lighting is too harsh IMO), I think the background is brilliant. |

My two servings for the dayby bmartuchComment: I thought this was a very good entry, and although it's a solid score, I expected it would finish much higher. I think you did a fantastic job with the lighting, colors and composition. Very well done all around! |
