Facing a Visual Cultureby posthumousComment: Don, obviously we had the same sort of idea while shooting for culture, and got similarly punished by the voters ;-) I think your entry is excellent. |

Day 15by walrus451Comment: LOL - this is funny. The expression matches the mood of the full moon. BTW, this would also be a very strong photo with no moon. :-) |

Waiting for the Tideby TannyComment: My first thought upon opening this is "oversaturated." I feel like there's an awful lot going on - and I'm having trouble finding a focal point. However, I very much like the bottom 1/3 of the photo. Might be interesting to play with cropping on this one. |

Going Homeby mia67Comment: This would be a perfect entry into partial desat :-) That curving line of shadow in the middle adds an extra artistic touch. There's a feeling of grief or sadness emoting from the woman, and the boy looks wise beyond his years. Very well done. |

pru 2by TCGuruComment: This one doesn't do quite as much for me, sorry :-( The feet are cute, but I think it might be the lighting draws more attention to the lace than the toes? |

by GnarfComment: I'm quite taken with this, Gnarf! I admit I wish the parallel lines were either stronger or absent, but my gut reaction was very positive. |

Wish in the windby TannyComment: I think this is one of those 'litmus test' type photos where it either works or doesn't, as the wind is an illusion. I was convinced that it was real based on both the thumbnail and full-sized image. I'm also very fond of your processing and signature. Well done on all counts! |

peye1.jpgby liltritterComment: Wow - the textures in the eye look almost mystical! I was not prepared to like it based on the thumbnail, but I like it a lot when I can see the details. An unexpected pleasure. |
