Been a bit of a bad week, and the title kinda explains it all.

Taken on a glass table top, light from the window. Photoshopping wasn't extensive, but I did heal out dust on the table, used a duotone, and did a final duplicate layer in overlay mode.

Let's see if it sucks as bad as my spoons from Kitchenware, shall we? At least they'll have company. I shall do knives at some point.... :-)

I still like the spoons better.

I still like your spoons better. :) Technically a well done shot. Personally it doesn't do much for me, but purely from a technical photo side it is superb. Congrats on the wonderful score and placement!

Great job. And you're right, it does sort of sum up your week. Hope all is going much much much better for now and for the forseeable future.

Perfect title to explain the week you had Deb. Great way to turn your emotions into a simple and striking picture. Love the reflections.

Crossing my fingers in the hopes that you will be inspired soon to take uplifting pics of utensils. :D

woo-hoo to you Debs for an outstanding image that pretty much everyone seemed to love.

Wonderful dof you created for this shot and the reflection is just to die for.

Sounds like you had a bit of a grim week so hopefully this has cheered you up a tad

I was wondering who shot this. Great job Deb. Fantastic idea and great score. I think it's neat that it was done through a reflection.

Nice, clean, simple arrangement of shapes. I keep looking at it with my head tilted to the left; I think I would like it even better oriented 90 degrees right, even though it's a reflection pic. Looks more like clasped hands that way, which I find appealing.

Nice shot, it would have been nice to see a little more DOF if possible.

I think framing or cropping more symetrically would have been better----
nice shot though
