This reminds me of the 80's pop-art of Patrick Nagel. Whether or not it qualifies as impressionism is open for interpretation, I guess, but either way, it's a captivating photo. You get a high score from me.

Jeffrey - I think you are getting robbed if you have a low score on this. Passing by I think it looks a lot like the scenes of Paris sidewalk cafes. I wish I could vote - I'd give you an 8, I think.

There are some great things about this photo: it is very sharp; the colors are vibrant; the bokeh is nicely done. A few issues: the snake's head is facing away; the tall piece of bark bisects the photo. Suggestions to improve the photo w/out a re-shoot: crop a good portion of left and bottom so snake is more prominent; clone out top 1/2 of bark so bokeh is continuous across the b/g. Hope this is helpful!
